She started in 2005, in the Business & Technoeconomics-KIN team, leading global projects for 10 years. In 2015, she became the head of the Digital Factory team, exploring digital megatrends. In 2019, she assumed the operational management of the center. In 2022, she was appointed Chief Digital Officer of Global R&D Spain and Digital Director.
Around 176 researchers work at the ArcelorMittal R&D centers in Asturias. Their activity is focused on research in various areas that are transversal to the steel business: digitalization, sustainability, as well as new technologies such as 3D printing or nanotechnology. If we had to highlight anything from the last year, above any type of result or project, it would always be the researchers at this benchmark center and their great capacity to reinvent themselves and support each other.
